The placement drive was organised with the goal of bridging academic training and professional employment for the nursing students of Sir Issac Newton College of Nursing on 29.10.2025. With active coordination from the Karpagam Medical College & Hospital, Coimbatore human-resources team and the college’s placement cell, the event sought to enable final-year B.Sc Nursing and DGNM students to access job opportunities, interact with hospital recruitment personnel, and transition smoothly into the workforce.
The students were provided with real-time exposure to hospital recruitment .

A pre-placement briefing was held, covering resume building, professional appearance, interview etiquette and hospital-specific role expectations.

The students from both the B.Sc Nursing and DGNM streams were given sessions on the roles, responsibilities and working conditions of nursing in a hospital setting.

The hospital HR team, explained the job roles available (staff nurse/trainee nurse), qualification required (B.Sc Nursing or DGNM), shifts, salary structure, probation period, training/policy details.
