DEPARTMENT OF MEDICAL SURGICAL NURSING

As per the INC norms, Our college Medical surgical lab aims at making students proficient in assessing and caring for adult patients suffering from various medical surgical disorders. Because Medical surgical nursing lab. is the practical area of the students, where they perform all nursing procedures prior to the exposure to the clinical field. Medical Surgical Nursing lab is designed to assist student in developing expertise and in depth knowledge in the field of medical surgical nursing.So we have designed MSN Lab to assist our student in developing expertise and in depth knowledge in the field .

Activities

Teaching students of various nursing programmes.
Organize seminar, CNE, faculty clinical presentation, workshop, conference.
Co-ordinate among members to attend professional activities
Communicate relevant events of the dept. to various institutions outside the university
Conduct health related days like world Diabetes day, world cancer day and world heart day.
Take part in patient care activities and clinical administration. Integrate with nursing service to provide quality nursing care.
